A device for labelling electrical leads or the like solves the problem of making it possible to use one and the same labelling device for either permanent or temporary attachment. In the first case the labelling device is threaded over the lead in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the lead, while in the second case the labelling device is attached by pushing it over the lead in an axial direction and is held in place by a snap action. The labelling device, which is made of a flexible plastic material, comprises an outer part 1 which is shaped as an inverted U, and an inner part 3 which has two lateral legs 4, 5. The space for taking the lead to which the labelling device is to be attached permanently is bordered by the said inner and outer parts, while for taking a lead on which the labelling device is to be attached temporarily there is space between the legs 4, 5 of the inner part 3. <IMAGE> |
