PURPOSE:To make it possible to enhance the life of bearings, by journaling a shaft to the casing of an automatic transmission unit through a bearing which is fitted onto an inlet or outlet gear hub part, so that the radial load which the gear is subjected to is received by the casing. CONSTITUTION:In a second planetary gear transmission mechanism 500 which is arranged between an input shaft 2 as a short shaft of a second shaft 400 and an output shaft 1 as a long shaft, radial load due to the transmission between an input gear 430 and an output shaft 230 of a first shaft is applied to the output shaft 1 at a point A as an acting point, upon transmission. However, the major part of radial load applied to the input gear 430 of the input shaft 2 is received by a gear cover 900 through a roller bearing 42 fitted onto a hub 431, and therefore the application of the radial load to bearings 11, 12 are inhibited. Accordingly, the radial load applied between the long and short shafts or the input gear connected to the short shaft or the output shaft becomes small, thereby the life of bearings may be prolonged. |
