<p>The clamp consists of two parts: a rectangular section pin (1) and a shaped plate (2). The pin is pushed through the rectangular slot (12) in one end (10) of the plate, and placed in position against the wall or other building member, so that the plate is over the pipes (P) or cables. The pin is then hammered into the wall until its vee-shaped head (11) prevents it from moving further. The plate has a curved outer end (6) which prevents the pipes from moving out of the clamp.
