PURPOSE:To prevent an overdischarge of a secondary battery by providing a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery in a battery package, arranging the terminals for discharge and for charge separately, and inserting a diode to let flow the discharge current in the right direction between the secondary battery and the discharge terminal. CONSTITUTION:The plus electrode and the terminal 10a for discharge of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 3 are connected through a power source line 15a for discharge, and the minus electrode and the terminal 10b for discharge are connected through a power source line 15b for discharge. The plus electrode and a terminal 14a for charge of the battery 3 are connected through a power source line 16a for charge, and the minus electrode and the terminal 14b for charge are connected through a line 16b for charge. A diode 17 with the right direction descending voltage of about 0.4V is inserted between the battery 3 and the discharge terminal 10a. This diode 17 prevents the charging current from flowing into the battery 3, regulates the number of the cells 3 housed in a battery package casing 2, and makes the output voltage of the discharge terminals 10a and 10b into a voltage necessary for the external apparatus such as a video camera. |
