Machine intended for producing templates for marking various symbols on a wide variety of surfaces, which has at least one roller capable of impacting on a component located on a linearly moveable plate and intended to receive the punches which are to produce said symbols, in such a manner that, by locating a set of templates over this group of punches and subjecting the plate to a manual or automatic linear movement and the roller or rollers to pressure, the desired effect is obtained on each displacement, this being recorded on a pass counter which can be actuated by the actual cam-type sides of the plate which travels, duly guided, by means of rails. <IMAGE>
