Electrode (5) for detecting and/or measuring electrochemical processes, especially suitable for living tissues, which has a sensing surface that can be brought in contact with the electrolyte of the electrochemical process and this surface is electrically connected to an outlet means in such a way that the outlet means (1) has no other contact with the electrolyte than the one through the sensing surface, and the sensing surface is titanium or an oxide layer (4) formed on a titanium substrate (3) or tantalum. The oxide layer (4) is formed on the surface of the titanium (3) by means of anodic oxidation, in which the formation voltage is adjusted between 1 and 1.5 V. |
