PURPOSE: To softly remove a polymer material which is soluble or swellable in an org. solvent from its surface without producing residual dross by using an emulsion liquid in a water-in-oil state which contains a specified proportion of a water phase finely dispersed and a continuous incombustible or flame- retardant and/or high boiling point org. phase. CONSTITUTION: Normal tap water and an org. phase are mixed by 90:10 to 10:90 volume ratio. The org. phase essentially consists of chlorinated hydrocarbons (such as 1,1,1-tetrachloroethylene), satd. and/or unsatd. cyclic hydrocarbons, unsatd. noncyclic hydrocarbons, distilled material of oil, hydrogenated oil fraction and/or a mixture of these, and each has incombustible or flame-retardant property and/or high boiling point. Especially, tetrachloroethylene, a fraction of oil after org. component is removed, synthetic isoparaffin, n-paraffin fraction, hydrogenated mineral oil, cyclic monoterpene and long-chain alkyl esters having different chain length of alkyl groups are preferable as the org. phase. Further, 0.1 to 20vol.% alcohol and 0.1 to 2vol.% surfactant are added. By using this compsn., a polymer material can be softly removed from the surface without producing residual dross. |
