NEW MATERIAL:A peptide of formula I (Boc is t-butyloxycarbonyl; Acm is acetamidemethyl; ONSu is N-oxysuccinimide). USE:A ligand for peptide metal complexes for medicines or functional materials. PREPARATION:For example, a 4M-hydrochloric acid/dioxane solution is added to a terminal amino group-protected oligopeptide of formula II (Me is methyl) to remove the protected amino group followed by reaction with a compound of formula Boc-Val-OH in the presence of a condensing agent and then reaction with a compound of formula Boc-Cys(Acm)-OH by similar means, thus forming a peptide of formula III. Thence, this peptide is treated with 1M NaOH in methanol to remove the protected carboxyl group followed by reaction with N-hydroxysuccinimide in the presence of a condensing agent, thus obtaining the objective peptide of formula I. |
