The invention provides a process for increasing the critical current density of a crystalline superconducting material by subjecting it to an electrical current during a growth and transformation stage of the material's crystal grains. The superconducting material is made partically useful by blending it with a non superconducting binder material such as glass or a polymer. The invention also includes products produced by the claimed processes. |
