This invention relates to a wire electrode supplying apparatus for wire electric discharge machines, which is constructed so that a wire electrode (38) supplied via a lower electrode guide (72) and a feeder (100) is transferred and discharged, by a roller unit (175) provided with a fluid supply port (175b) and a fluid discharge port (175c) and a rotary body (176) adapted to be turned by a fluid being supplied; a guide pipe (179) joined to the discharge port (175c) of the roller unit (175), and a take-up mechanism (79) provided in the vicinity of a fluid outlet of this guide pipe (179). A fluid (180) supplied through the fluid supply port (175b) of the roller unit (175) causes the rotary body (176) to be turned, and the direction of the wire electrode (38) supplied from the feeder (100) is changed in accordance with the turning of the rotary body (176), the wire electrode (38) being transferred to the take-up mechanism (79) via the discharge port (175c) and guide pipe (179) by the fluid (180) and then discharged therefrom.
