NOISE REDUCTION DEVICE IN STATIONARY AIR CONDITIONING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To make possible control of the range and the direction in which noise of an electrically operated fan is transmitted and the exhaust direction of air and increase a degree of selection freedom of an installation place of an outdoor unit by providing a wind direction control board near the air discharge port of an electrically operated fan to form a plurality of parallel ducts different in length. CONSTITUTION:Working fluid compressed by a compressor 32 is allowed to circulate between a radiator 26 and an indoor radiator to form a heat pump. An acoustic lens 52 attached to the upper part of a housing 20 has a group of plates 54 as a parallel wind direction board in the juxtaposition direction of fans 28a, 28b and a plurality of parallel ducts 56 different in length are formed among these plates 54. A group of the ducts 56 allow noise of the fan 28 to be reduced by interference. In addition, the plates 54 has a function for regulating the exhaust direction of air exhausted from the electrically operated fan 28. Since an acoustic lens 52 is allowed to freely change the position of a focus of sound pressure, the noise can be set so as to lessen at a specified position as the direction of air is set in a specified direction.
