Automatic embroidery machine - with embroidery frame or needle bar controlling in two orthogonal directions

An automatic embroidery machine has a needle bar which can be directed in the X- as well as the Y-direction because the embroidery frame is supported rotatably. Alternatively the needle bar can combine X- and Y-movements. Pref. the worm wheel is rotatably supported in a bearing and is turned by the worm driven by a motor on the shaft. The embroidery frame is attached to the wheel. The needle bar is movable vertically in the bar guide on which a pin cooperates with the control rod. This carries a toothed rack, actuated by a motor with a pinion. ADVANTAGE - This permits the stitching rate to be doubled and achieves a better embroidery pattern in a shorter time.
