PURPOSE:To select an optimum base station in a short time without decreasing number of radio zones by selecting an optimum base station among a representative base station and plural base stations whose radio zones are arranged adjacently to the surrounding of the representative base station. CONSTITUTION:The reception electric field strength of representative base stations A0-C0 is measured respectively to select a representative base station B0 whose reception electric field strength is highest, the reception electric field strength of surrounding base stations B1-B6 with respect to the representative base station B0 is measured respectively and the base station B5 whose reception electric field strength is highest is selected from the representative base station B0 ad its surrounding base stations B1-B6 based on the result of measurement. Thus, the reception electric field strength is to be measured only as to 9 base stations comprising 3 representative base stations A0-C0 and 6 surrounding base stations B1-B6 among all the base stations of the group till the base station B5 is found. Thus, an optimum base station is selected in a short time without decreasing number of radio zones. |
