<p>PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of installing work of a steering wheel by using a work robot to carry out automatically a series of works including the centering, the rotation angle setting, the conveyance, and the installing of the steering wheel. CONSTITUTION:By using a work robot 5, a steering wheel 4 is conveyed to a centering device 10 to set the axial center, conveyed to a rotation angle setting device 11 under the condition to maintain the set axial center by a work conveyer device 8, and the rotation angle in the rotation direction of the steering wheel 4 is set. And, by a grasping device 13 at the tip of a robot arm 31, the steering wheel 4 is grasped while keeping its axial center position and the rotation angle, the steering wheel 4 is positioned to a specific position of a vehicle 2 by the work robot 5, fixed with a nut runner 14, and installed. The steering wheel can be installed at a good working efficiency in such a way.</p> |
