PURPOSE:To improve transparency and heat resistance by forming the above body of a thermoplastic polymer contg. a glutarimide unit having specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:This light transmission body consists of a base material 1, a film 2 consisting of a crosslinking hardenable resin provided on the outer surface of the base material and a reflecting layer 3. This body is molded of the thermoplastic polymer contg. the glutarimide unit. The content of the glutarimide structure unit is >=60wt.%, the content of the amide segment in the polymer is <=2wt.% and the content of the iron in the polymer is <=20ppm; the YI value measured by a color difference meter is <=3 and the total ray transmittance measured by an integrating sphere haze meter is >=87%. The transparency and heat resistance are enhanced in this way. |
