The device for transmitting power, is adapted to the torque change of reel tape in play mode or reverse mode of VCR. The device includes fixing shaft (2) on bracket (1); felt (4) between idler pulley (3) and gear (5); compression spring (6) between gear (5) and belt pulley (8) with supplied driving power; idler gear (21) for supplying driving power to reed feel (19) and winding reel (20), being contacted with idler pulley (3).
