The waste water is absorbed into dry particles contg. cellulose or cellulose, and these are metered into the particle prepn. process involved in producing the prodt. Particles intended for the middle layer of the finished prodt. are pref. used. The satd. particles are subsequently transferred to a storage bunker, or taken directly to a drying machine. The particles are subjected to a mixing process during or after absorption of the waste water. Containers (1) hold dry wood particles (2). The waste water is poured from a mobile vessel (4) through a sieve (3) into one of these containers (1) so that the material in its is wetted but not satured. The contents of the containers (1) are in turn metered via a pipeline (5) and a mixer (8) into the main flow of moist wood particles coming from a storage container (6) and passing through a dryer (9) to the next stage of the mfg. process. USE/ADVANTAGE - Used for the disposal of waste water {produced as a result of the cleaning of glue from pipes and equipment in the mfr. of chip-board and similar materials. The waste water is re-cycled so that there is no wastage of glue, and the problem of the disposal of the contaminated water is eliminated.
