When a duplication of the working pattern for a denture is required, the working pattern (8) is placed on the plate (9) which lies loose in the lower part (1) of the mould. The upper part (2), which is made of transparent plastic, e.g. PLEXIGLAS(RTM) has a gum-shaped cavity (3) and is pushed in the lower part up to the rim (7). Enough liq. duplicating material is filled through the openings (4) to fill even the funnels of the openings. After setting, compressed air is blown through the hole (12) in (1) to separate the upper part (2) with the working pattern (8). The bottom plate (9) which was joined by a wax layer to the working pattern is now removed, also the working pattern, and the duplicate can be cast. ADVANTAGE - Minimises the consumption of the expensive duplication material.
