<p>When first magnetic heads (3), (4) mounted via electro-mechanical conversion elements (7), (8), and second magnetic heads (5), (6) are both under the reproducing condition, a correction value is provided (15) based on a difference between a first tracking error signal (13) and a second tracking error signal (10). When the first magnetic heads (3), (4) are under the recording condition and the second magnetic heads (5), (6) are under the reproducing condition, a correction value is produced (15) based on a difference between a second tracking error signal of a recording track that is now reproducing the signals and a second tracking error signal of one track before. A reference signal for driving the electro-mechanical conversion elements is corrected by the above correction value to control the electro-mechanical conversion elements (7), (8), in order to favourably carry out the editing and recording.</p> |
