Electrical socket connector - has series of metal connectors with cable ends forced into blades during assembly
摘要
The electrical socket connector has a housing formed by two half sections (60, 61) that have a number of internally located connectors (66). Each connector is produced as a metal pressing with the lower end formed as a black (70) and the top end rolled to form a socket for a rectangular section pin. The blader have 'V' slots into which the ends of connecting cables (73) are forced to cut through insulation. The force required to cut through the insulation is readily provided when the halves of the housing are assembled. Lugs (76) press against the cables to cut the insulation. ADVANTAGE - Simplifies fixing of cables into socket.
