<p>PURPOSE:To decrease dirt on the lens surfaces of lower auxiliary headlamps by disposing a pair of auxiliary headlamps freely slidably between available positions protruding in the right and left directions from a license plate holder and the enclosing positions of a holder back, and installing a driving means for their movement between both positions. CONSTITUTION:When an operating switch 5 is turned on with auxiliary headlamps 3A and 3B located in their enclosed positions, a light switch 4d is located at 'ON' position, so that a motor M starts its normal rotation, then a pinion gear 4a and rack gear belts 4b, 4c operate to move the headlamps 3A and 3B to their available positions. Since the switch 4d is switched to the 'OFF' side upon arrival of the lamps at the available positions, the motor M stops and at the same time, light sources 3Aa, 3Ba, are turned on. Since a stop switch 4e is located at the 'OFF' side at this time, when the switch 5 is switched to the 'OFF' side, the light sources 3Ab, 3Bb are turned off and at the same time, the motor M rotates reversely and moves toward the enclosing position. Then the switch 4e is switched to 'ON' upon arrival at the lamps at the enclosing position, thus the motor M is stopped.</p> |
