PURPOSE:To prevent an exposing lamp from being damaged by providing a voltage limiting means which limits the voltage of the exposing lamp to a first set voltage or below, a warning means which detects that the voltage of the exposing lamp reaches a second set voltage lower than the first set voltage and gives a warning, and an operating means which can vary the second set voltage. CONSTITUTION:The image forming device is provided with the voltage limiting means 1 which limits the voltage of the exposing lamp to the first set voltage or below, the warning means 2 which detects that the voltage of the exposing lamp reaches the second set voltage lower than the first set voltage and gives the warning, and the operating means which can vary the second set voltage. Therefore, the voltage of the exposing lamp is limited to the first set voltage or below by the voltage limiting means 1 and the warning means 2 detects that the voltage reaches the second set voltage and gives the warning. In this case, the second set voltage can be varied by the operating means 3. Thus, an exposing lamp is prevented from being damaged. |
