In the injection moulding of a tape reel consisting of a tape reel side plate (1), a closed-end cylindrical body (2) located at the centre of the side plate (1), a tape winding core (4) arranged outside the cylindrical body (2), a projection (6) provided on the top plate of the cylindrical body (2) to serve as the centre of rotation, and caulking bosses (7): resin is injected through a gate (or gates) located at the position(s) corresp.. to the top plate (5) of the cylindical body (2) or around it other than the positions corresp. to the caulking bosses (7).
