摘要 PURPOSE: To support an airborne vehicle in a space by providing a plurality of unmanned aircrafts respectively connected to an airborne vehicle by cables, a control device for the unmanned aircrafts and an energy supply device for supplying energy to the unmanned aircraft. CONSTITUTION: Plural unmanned aircrafts 4 are controlled from the outside to fly in circular orbits at equally spaced angles around the airborne vehicle to support the vehicle where a cable 6 is stretched over a predetermined location in space. The unmanned aircraft 4 is adapted to support an airborne vehicle at an altitude of 60,000-100,000 feet so that the vehicle fulfils most of functions of a geostationary satellite, but since it turns substantially at a low altitude, the area for covering the ground is substantially small. The unmanned aircraft 4 includes an electric propulsion device which constantly receives the supply of energy from an external energy source, and the unmanned aircraft is supplied with electricity from a solar panel 10 supported by the vehicle through the cable 6.
