<p>An organosilicon compound having the general formula (I): <CHEM> wherein R<1> represents the methyl group or the ethyl group, R<2> represents an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and n represents an integer of from 1 to 3. This compound is useful in preparing room temperature vulcaniazable organopolisiloxane compositions which have good storage stability, and release no smelly or corrosive condensation by-product on curing.</p>
