PURPOSE:To measure partial pressure or concentration of oxygen more accurately by arranging oxygen sensors depthwise with respect to the flow of a gas to be measured separated at a specified distance from each other. CONSTITUTION:A main tube 1 is inserted and set into the flow of a combustion exhaust gas from a flue or the like of a boiler. A zirconia sensor 11 as oxygen sensor is arranged along the axis of the main tube 1 separated at a specified distance therefrom and mounted airtight on a holding fixture 14. To attach or detach the sensor 11, a sensor back lid 3 is removed. A filter 10 is mounted on the outside of the sensor 11 to prevent the passage of dust and damage is prevented with a cover 2. Air as standard comparison gas is released continuously from an air release port 4. A calibration gas is fed to the contact surface with a gas to be measured of the sensor 11 through a calibration gas tube 12. Measured values of the oxygen sensors are processed to determine the weighted mean with the flow rate as reference thereby enabling the determination of the concentration of oxygen more accurately.
