PURPOSE:To obtain an image free from color shift effect and easy to see and diagnose by applying the constitution wherein the image reproduced with an image playback means is evaluated in respect of quality with an evaluation means and a control means controls the image playback means on the basis of the result of the evaluation. CONSTITUTION:A video processor device 4 provides an illuminant device 2 and an electronic scope 1 with synchronized timing and drive signals. In addition, an image signal from the the electronic scope device 1 is inputted to the processor device 4 and a video signal is outputted from the device 4 to the first TV monitor 3 and a video disc recorder device 9. The video disc recorder device 9 as an image playback means records and plays back the inputted video signal, and the operation thereof is controlled with a command sent via a serial transmission line 5a connected to a host computer 5 as a control means. Output from the video disc recorder device 9 is connected to a color shift detection means 10 and the second TV monitor 11 for displaying the image, thereby detecting a color shift, quickening image recording, and generating an image free from color shift effect and easy to see.
