PURPOSE:To improve transporting efficiency by detecting the crowdedness in each riding cage in its inside or outside and artificially or spontaneously promoting, limiting or inhibiting passengers to get on and off the riding cage in accordance with the detected crowdedness. CONSTITUTION:First before a fixed time a high speed-large capacity continuous transporter 1 arrives at the corresponding on-off getting platform 2, escalators 3, serving as a guide device for passengers, are started operating, and the passenger is left as previously transported to the platform 2 to an extent such that it is not crowded for a riding cage 4. When the transporter 1 arrives at the platform 2, the escalator 3 guides one after another the passenger getting on and off the cage 4. Crowdedness in the cage 4 is detected and compared with that in the other cage, and a speed of the escalator 3 is decelerated or accelerated so as to equalize the crowdedness. Consequently, the passengers are guided uniformly and with no waste of time by the escalator 3 so as to prevent the platform 2 from being crowded, while allowed to get on the cage within the individual equal times. |
