PURPOSE:To keep always favorable ink feed conditions, eliminating inferior printed characters, preventing the surface of a feed member from being dried, and preventing also attachment dust to said surface so as to obtain clear print record by providing a roller-shaped ink feed mechanism made up of filter member and an ink feed member, and an ink-cap mechanism for sealingly enclosing the ink feed mechanism when recording is stopped. CONSTITUTION:Ink 4 is passed through an ink feed hole 11 of an ink feed pipe 10 and a roller-shaped member comprising a filter member 12, an intermediate filter member 13 and an ink feed member 14 so that impurities such as dust in the ink are removed, whereby suitable amount of ink can be filled into recording medium 2. When dispatch of record signal is suspended for a few seconds or terminated, the interior of an ink cap of an ink cap mechanism 19 is lowered from the ink cap to the side of the record medium to sealingly enclose the ink feed mechanism, thereby preventing the surface of the ink feed member from being dried or preventing the attachment of impurities thereto. |
