<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the resistance temperature coefficient TCR and to contrive improvement in reliability by a method wherein a low resistance temperature coefficient TCR alloy is used as the core and a non-oxidizable metal is used as a coating material to form conductor power of a polymer thick film resistor. CONSTITUTION:A low TCR alloy is used as the core of a polymer thick film resistor, composite metal power having a non-oxidizable metal as a coating material, is used as a conductor, and they are dispersed into a binder. Also, using low TCR ceramics as a core and ceramic-metal composite power, having a non-oxidizable metal as a coating material, as a conductor, a polymer thick film resistor is obtained by dispersing the conductor into a binder. The thickness of the coating material is set at 5 to 50nm. By the effect of the conductor containing a polymer thick film resistor of non-oxidizable composite alloy powder or non-oxidizable ceramic-metal composite powder, the material having a very small quantity of TCR and high reliability can be obtained as a resistor material.</p> |
