<p>PURPOSE: To expand the ability of a user by providing plural buffer means connected to the corresponding set of input/output pins and an internal bus and a control logic means connected to the set of control pins and the internal bus. CONSTITUTION: The input/output pin is connected to the cell of a peripheral equipment. A buffer 75 transfers address information and data information from a special function register area 25 to the input/output pin, and in addition, it transfers the address information and the data information from the input/ output pin to special function register area 25. Besides, the control logic means 79 transfers some of signals for internal control and for timing generated at logic 21 for timing and of control to the control pin. Thus, even though the user does not have special knowledge about custom layout and element/circuit technique, he can customize a controller in respect of the user of the peripheral equipment.</p> |
