ELECTRIC CONTACT BEING SPLIT IN INLEADED CONDITIONS FOR COUPLED EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE: To automatically shut contact elements in electric connection between vehicles or equipment off from each other for safety by the provision of the first parts of an existing electric contact and the second parts adjoining the contacts for forming a reversible mechanical connection of the contacts. CONSTITUTION: An electric contact comprises first parts 1 and 7 of an existing electric contacts and second parts 11 and 13 adjoining the contact parts for forming a reversible mechanical connection of the contact parts. The reversible mechanical connection is adapted not to affect the electric contact parts especially upon pulling-off or breakage of the contacts. The connection is manually established with no voltage being applied thereto and is disconnected with no voltage being applied thereto under a fixed tensile stress. A combination vehicle or equipment is thus electrically disconnected automatically with no damage applied thereto without any external interference.
