In hinge mountings of door retention bands (6) of door stays for motor vehicle doors, in which a door retention band (6) formed from flat material and provided with locking nuts distributed over its length is arranged, pivotably about an axis parallel to the hinge axis, on the one door arrangement part, and a retention housing passed through by the door retention band is arranged on the other door arrangement part, and in which the pivot mounting of the door retention band is formed by a clamping sleeve (8), it has been shown in practice that a design of the pivot mounting which yields only transversely to the pivot axis of the retention band (6) is insufficient to avoid undesired noise formation inside the door stay. In order to remedy this inadequacy, the invention proposes that a clamping sleeve (8) forming the pivot mounting of the door retention band (6) should be braced positively against the inner surfaces of the arms of the bearing block (2) for the door retention band, by means of appropriate configuration of its front areas and by means of a clamping means (12) passing through it the clamping sleeve (8) having radial outward bends (15) or the like at its front areas. <IMAGE> |
