PURPOSE:To produce the refractory material with as little as possible deformation due to bending during used or residual expansion from stabilized zirconia as the raw material by adding solid solution stabilizer component and zirconyl acetate to the raw powder material of stabilized zirconia and by baking the material. CONSTITUTION:The solid solution stabilizer component for zirconia (such as acetates or chlorides of Ca, Mg, Y, Ce, etc.), and zirconyl acetate are added to the raw powder material of stabilized zirconia and baked to produce the zirconia refractory material. By this method, such products having excellent strength, high stability and little deformation due to bending during used or residual expansion can be obtained from general raw material for stabilized zirconia. |
