PURPOSE: To form thin metal pieces of a reactive metal by encapsulating a first metal in a second metal with a chemically inactive release agent, forming and stripping both. CONSTITUTION: A first metal 20 (reactive metal piece) is encapsulated in a second metal 28 (non-reactive metal piece) for forming a metal assembly. Concerning the first metal, both metals 20, 28 are substantially isolated by a chemically inactive release agent layer. A welding laminated assembly 38 is formed into a geometrical shape decided beforehand by metal forming means of rollers 40, 42. Next the second metal 28 is stripped from the first metal. As for the metal forming means hot working means is used. The first metal is a reactive metal to accelerate oxidation at a high temp., the second metal is a non-reactive metal to resist oxidation at a high temp. By is method, a foil or a slender thin metal piece is formed by hot rolling. |
