<p>PURPOSE:To certainly perform matching treatment without damaging a sheet by a method wherein staple part is matched in the longitudinal and lateral directions by reciprocally moving a matching member by a stepping motor and imparting such a characteristic that torque is lowered as drive frequency becomes high to the stepping motor. CONSTITUTION:Sheets are sent in a staple tray 201 by drive rollers 68, 69 to fall freely therein and received in such a state that the lower ends of the sheets are brought to the contact state with a stopper 202. Herein, the matching part 205b of a matching plate 205 advances into the upper part of the tray 201 and falls in the direction shown by an arrow (b) to arrange a sheet bundle P in an up-and-down direction by said matching part 205b and the stopper 202. Further, a matching plate 204 moves in the direction shown by an arrow (a) and the sheet bundle P is arranged in a lateral direction by the matching part 204b of said plate 204 and a reference plate 203. The matching plates 204, 205 are respectively driven by a stepping motor. In this case, the stepping motor is driven with high torque until the matching parts 204b, 205b reach matching reference positions Pa, Pb and driven with low torque thereafter. By this method, out-of-phase is easily generated in the stepping motor to prevent the damage of a sheet.</p> |
