According to this method, first of all inclusions of granular materials are made in the ground by means of a hollow tubular metal mandrel provided for this purpose, mounted so that it can slide on vertical slideways and forcibly engaged into the ground by vibration and/or pressure, these inclusions substantially assuming the form of cylindrical, vertical columns, and then this granular material is compacted before the ground is compacted by pounding.
