PURPOSE:To prevent an uncontrolled running of an engine, by arranging such that in the case where a fuel injection timing is computed by interrupting it with a rotation signal, a computing operation may be stopped or a fuel injection quantity may be made at constant when a frequency by a rotation signal is made lower than a value larger than the maximum timing required for the computation. CONSTITUTION:Where a timing required to compute a fuel injection timing is made Tcal and a frequency which is larger than the timing is made Tcal, but is essentially the same as that of a maximum rotating speed in a normal engine operation is made T0, a fuel injection control device computes the frequency T' and compares it with the frequency To, when a' is entered by a rotation interruption A. If it is found that T' is smaller than T0, the fuel computation is stopped and other computations such as a fuel injection timing and the like are performed with a fuel injection timing fixed at a constant timing tau (0 inclusive) and a computation timing TF. As the engine gradually decreases its rotating speed, and when a frequency T3' becomes larger than the frequency T0, a computation of fuel will be restarted. |
