PURPOSE:To select the program products and to supply them to a hardware device by adding a combination table, a retrieving means, and a program supply process means to a center device. CONSTITUTION:A center device 30 contains a file device 31, a combination table 32, a retrieving means 33, and a program supply process means 33. The device 31 stores the given program products. The table 32 contains the registered various hardware constitutions and combination information on the version and the revision of program products. The hardware devices 10 and 20 of a user designate the hardware constitution and the program product name to be used to the device 30 via a request transmission means and receive the requested program products form the device 30. Thus the user can receive the supply of the proper program products from the device 30.
