The shielded (armour-plated) element of the present invention in particular comprises a shielded (armour-plated) wall 9 mounted on carrying elements 18 in the shape of a U, comprising fins 23, 24, of a carrying structure in the form of a chassis, the mounting being by means of at least one non-metallic body 6, 7 of stable shape, which body dampens vibrations or noise or shock (impact). Preferably, the non-metallic bodies 6, 7 are made of a rubbery synthetic material, such as an elastomer.
