摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the alloy for a choke coil of fine grain structure which is magnetically hard to saturate and having relatively high magnetic permeability by specifying the compsn. constituted of elements such as Co, Fe, Cu, Si and Nb, elements such as Ni and elements such as C. CONSTITUTION:The alloy for a choke coil has the compsn. expressed by the composition formula of (Co1-aFea)1-x-y-z-alpha-beta-gammaCuxSiyBzM'alphaM''betaXgamma (atom %) (where M' denotes one or more kinds of elements among Nb, W, Ta, Zr, Hf, Ti and Mo, M'' denotes one or more kinds ot elements among Ni, V, Cr, Mn, Al, Ag, platinum group elements, Au, Zn, Sn and Re and X denotes one or more kinds of elements among C, Ge, P, Ga, Sb, In and Be as well as 0.2<=a<=0.5, 0.1<=x<=10, 0<=y<=30, 0<=z<=25, 5<=y+z<=30, 1<=alpha<=10, 0<=beta<=10 and 0<=theta<=10 are regulated) and in which at least 50% of the structure is constituted of fine grains having <=1000Angstrom average grain size. The alloy is magnetically hard to saturate, has relatively high magnetic permeability and therefore has high effect for removing normal mode noise.
