In order to attenuate the undesirable resonant frequencies in a module produced in the form of a cylindrical capacitor with variable capacitance, there is integrated into the capacitor an attenuation circuit formed by an ohmic resistor 23 which is wired up in parallel with a series oscillating circuit whose inductance is constituted by a metal bar 20 and whose capacitance is constituted by a disc-shaped capacitor 26, 28, 29 mounted on one end of the bar, whose other end is fixed in the bottom 10 of the pot-shaped interior electrode 8 of the cylindrical capacitor, the resistor 23 having a tubular shape and surrounding the bar 20. Application in particular to the decoupling modules of cavity amplifiers in radio transmitters. <IMAGE>
