PURPOSE:To facilitate preparation by dividing a cylinder having the equal diameter to that of the stay ring of a water turbine into four parts and connecting the divided pieces by a flat plate in straight line form. CONSTITUTION:The radius of the section phiD on the runner-side edge surface of an outside stay ring 8B is set R1, and the section on the opposite side to the runner 1 of the stay rings 8B1 and 8B2 is set R1 at the corner part, and the both parts are connected by a straight line, and a stay vane 4 is connected at right angles to the straight-line part of the stay ring 8B2 so as to obtain the shortest distance for the outside stay ring 8B. A piece obtained by dividing a cylinder having a radius R1 into four parts is connected. Therefore, structure can be simplified, and strength can be improved. |
