<p>PURPOSE:To use only one kind of peripheral LSI of peripheral LSI device to perform interface between plural kinds of CPU and peripheral devices by discriminating automatically the classification of the CPU connected to the LSI device to select a corresponding interface circuit. CONSTITUTION:A CPU retrieving circuit 1 discriminates the classification of the CPU on a basis of the difference of timing relations of plural control signals inputted from the CPU. An interface 2 of type A or an interface 3 of type B is selected on a basis of the discrimination result, and control signals are transmitted and received from and by the CPU through the selected interface 2 or 3.</p> |
