The vehicle is designed to spread spreading granular or powdered material, in particular fine white chalk. It has a container (2) shaped like a trough in which is installed a delivery system (12) running past an outlet (11). The delivery system can be an endless belt or chain whose lower stretch (16) is so arranged that it extends across the width of the load container floor (3) and is separated by a gap from it. USE/ADVANTAGE - Vehicle in which the space requirement for the delivery system can be reduced without affecting output, and in which the usable storage space is enlarged.
