PURPOSE:To maintain the aperture synthesizing function and to prevent the deterioration of resolution in the scanning direction by providing a curved surface parameter setting circuit for setting an inclination in the scanning direc tion as a correction condition, and executing an aperture synthetic operation under the correction condition. CONSTITUTION:A target reflecting signal received and amplified by a receiver is converted to an intermediate frequency by a frequency conversion/A-D converter 5, and thereafter, digitized, and supplied to an aperture synthesizing circuit 10. The aperture synthesizing circuit 10 is constituted of an arithmetic circuit 10a containing an adding circuit 10a1 and a position setting circuit 10b. To this position setting circuit 10b, an aperture synthetic correction condition which follows up an inclination in the scanning direction of the device is supplied from a curved surface parameter setting circuit 11. In the arithmetic circuit 10a of the aperture synthesizing circuit 10, an aperture synthetic operation is executed under the correction condition at every scanning spot. In such a way, the deterioration of resolution in the scanning direction is prevented, and a satisfactory target reflected image can be taken. |
