PURPOSE: To speedily install a gap sealing member with small force by constituting the gas sealing member of an elastically deformable closed hollow profile member to be adhered on an inside surface of a flange for installation on a device sealing a gap between the flange for installation and a window glass. CONSTITUTION: A bead 9 of an adhesive material is attached on a surface of a window glass 8 in case of fixing the window glass 8 on a flange 2 for installation provided on a car body 1, and a gap sealing member 5 is arranged on the outside of the flange 2 for installation. This sealing member 5 is formed of an elastically deformable material in a cross-section tubular shape, the neighborhood of an edge part is extended along this edge part between first and second wall parts 4, 3 of the flange 2 for installation, and it is adhered by a proper adhesive. Thereafter, the window glass 8 preprocessed in such a way is pushed on the flange 2 for installation, the bead 9 is plastially deformed, and a gap between the both 2, 8 is certainly sealed by elastically deforming the sealing member 5. |
