Hydraulic booster for vehicle brakes - has check valve which reduces reaction forces on brake pedal

The hydraulic booster is esp. for vehicle braking systems. It has a piston in a housing with a brake pressure control valve incorporated in the piston and movable relative to it. A return position space (3) arranged between the booster piston (1) and the actuation member (2) is hydraulically blockable against the booster space (4) by means of a check valve (5). USE/ADVANTAGE - Braking system booster using low cost components and offering complete reliability which minimises the reaction force on the brake pedal and maintains a positive spring effect.
