The equipment secures a joint strip (2) covering the gap (1c) between two building components (1a,1b). A pair of C-section profiled components (3a,3b) are installed in the opposite faces, and extend over areas of them which are both easy and difficult to reach, each containing a slot open towards the gap. Along the opposite edges of the strip are holding bodies (4a,4b) inserted in the profiled components and secured in place. USE/ADVANTAGE - Usable in very narrow gaps, 30cm. wide or less.
