PURPOSE:To change cable laying direction at a sharp angle with ease by arranging plural connecting pins connected with respective conductors of a cable symmetrically and in parallel with respect to the center of the arrangement of them in the engaging face of a connecting case, and thereby inclining the engaging face to the longer direction of the cable. CONSTITUTION:The engaging face 22 of a connecting case 20 is inclined, for example, by 45 deg. to the lengthwise direction of an under carpet cable 10, and connecting pins 31 through 38 are arranged in parallel and symmetrically with respect to the center line 40 of the arrangement of them at the central recessed section of them wherein the cable 10 and the pins 31 through 38 are connected as shown in the figure. Female connecting pins are so constituted in a way similar to those for the aforesaid ones. When they are laid linearly, a male and a female connecting cable 20a and 20b are engaged with each other in such a way that the engaging faces 22 of them negate their own inclination. When they are laid at a right angle, the connection is made while either one of the connecting cases is turned over. |
